Return & Refund Policy

At The Olfactant Room, every fragrance is selected with intention — because scent is personal, memorable, and deeply connected to presence. We take pride in delivering authentic products in excellent condition, and we want every experience with us to feel smooth from checkout to first spray.

Returns

Due to the nature of fragrance products and hygiene standards, all fragrance sales are considered final once opened or used.

We currently accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • The item arrived damaged

  • You received the wrong product

  • Your order was missing items

  • The product remains unopened, unused, and in its original packaging

To request a return, contact us within 3 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

Requests submitted outside of this timeframe may not qualify for a return or refund.

Refunds

Once your return request is reviewed and approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.

Please allow:

  • 3–5 business days for return review

  • 5–10 business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was on our end.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. If approved, we’ll ship a replacement based on product availability.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Opened or used fragrances

  • Samples or decants

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Gift cards

Lost or Stolen Packages

The Olfactant Room is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the shipping carrier. If your package is lost or stolen, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before shipment confirmation is sent. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
